白い釉薬をまとった磁器のフラワーベースです。釉薬の濃淡が、下の陶土の色をうっすらと感じさせます。
均一に整えられた形からわずかにはみ出したくらいの、絶妙な塩梅。作家の強い個性を主張した形でも、機械で作った正確な形でもない。その微妙な手の入り加減が、静かに心を落ち着かせます。
静謐な印象でありながら、可愛らしさと温かみも感じる花器です。
ベルギーのデザイナーMarie Michielssenによるデザイン。
