「重心とバランスの理科実験」のための学校教材です。

積み木のような青いカラダと赤い足、鉄でできた長い腕を持ったロボット。
このロボットが、斜めに下がった平均台の上を、腕を左右に振って重心移動を繰り返し、バランスを取りながらゆっくりと歩いていきます。
腕の長さや坂の角度をうまく調整しないと、途中で止まったり転んだりします。
微調整することに夢中になっているうちに、知らずに「重心とバランス」を取ることを体感します。

黒、赤、青、緑といったはっきりした色使いで、外国の民芸品に見られる素朴なおもちゃのような感じです。
分度器のついた台に乗った、極端に腕の長いプロポーションのロボットには不思議な存在感があります。

うまく歩くようにいじっている時も楽しいですし、ただ部屋に置いていても個性的でおもしろい飾りになります。
転ばないように一生懸命に歩くロボットを見ていると、なんだか気持ちが穏やかになります。
