厚い板紙で作られた古い収納ボックスです。
（ファイバーボックスのような質感です）
書類などを保管するために使われていたと思われます。

内側の箱には切り込みが入っているので、中に入れた書類などが取り出しやすくなっています。
A4用のファイルがすっぽり収まる大きさです。
外側の箱が被さり蓋になります。

デスクの上の雑多な文房具や紙類をまとめたり、趣味の用品をしまう道具箱にしても良さそうです。

色あせてくすんだ赤色。
角はリベットで留められています。
手描きの数字が、マジックで小さく書かれています。
