ベルギーのSERAX社から花瓶が入荷いたしました。
上に向かって細まった円錐形。アイボリーのような白。薄くて軽い磁器製です。
全体に光沢がありますが、下の部分だけは釉薬が掛けられていない素焼きになっています。光の加減により質感の差を感じます。
造形がユニークです。フォルムは、抽象的な彫刻作品のように見えたり、何かの容器のように見えたり。
口の部分は、塞がれていた上面に後から穴を開けたような少し歪な円形になっています。
芸術作品のような繊細さと、工場製品のような無機質さが共存したベースです。
アントワープのデザイナーを生み出したベルギーらしいミニマルで静謐な作品です。
